Mister Freedom’s Cowboy Jacket Gets a Shiny Fresh Coat of Resin

Constructing some of the best denim garments in the world isn’t an easy feat, but most hardcore denim fans would have a hard time disputing the prowess of Mister Freedom. Their attention to detail is second to, well, maybe only their willingness to push boundaries on thoughtfully inspired pieces, and their latest is no exception. Meet the new Cowboy Jacket in Coated Black Denim.

Coated black denim, you say? That’s right, this jacket is constructed with a 12.5oz. indigo denim that’s been coated in black resin, adding a whole other dimension to the fading possibilities. It features tonal stitching throughout — including signature “M” pocket arcs to keep with the blackout theme — along with salt-and-pepper chambray-lined MF original slanted flap chest pockets, oxidized black wreath metal buttons, and a debossed leather inner patch.

It’s cut slightly on the skinnier side, to get in touch with those classic ’60s vibes, and also has adjustable button-cinched waist tabs for added fit adjustments. I’d be lying if I said I’m not curious to see this thing after a year of tough love.

Available for $350 at Self Edge.
