Pure Blue Japan Doubles Up the Indigo on Their Chambray Shirts

Chambray is a perfect summer fabric. It looks, feels, and breathes great. But let’s face it:  you guys are here for fades and for hard-core indigo goodness. Well guess what? Pure Blue Japan wants you wearing the comfiest of shirting materials while you work on those ever-so-sweet fades.

Weighing in at only 5.5oz., the Double Indigo Chambray Work Shirt is lightweight, but the hue of the fabric is anything but. PBJ exhaustively dyed both the warp and weft yarns to yield a super-dark and irregularly faded garment. Made in Japan from selvedge fabric and chain-stitched throughout, the work shirt has two chest pockets and a tapered fit.

And if you love the color and the weight, but not the cut, you’re in luck. Pure Blue has also cut the same chambray into a western shirt, complete with yokes and snaps.

You can get either of the Work Shirt or the Western from Corlection for $253 AUD (~$195 USD).
