Still By Hand’s Easy Pant are a Breeze at Just 9oz.

Hand-making garments from artisanal fabrics is by no means easy, but Still By Hand wanted their Easy Pant to be, well, easy. To do so, the Japanese brand paired a 9oz. cotton fabric with a relaxed silhouette, producing a laid-back pant that blurs the line between chinos and pleated trousers.

The lightweight cotton of the Easy Pant has been indigo dyed and rinsed, giving it a rich tone that’s somewhere between French workwear-blue and deep indigo. Cut with a high rise and roomy thigh, this modern-leaning silhouette a features a cropped inseam with a gentle taper to keep things clean and trim. The relaxed top-block is also home to some traditional pleated trouser hallmarks — like slanted front pockets that connect to the outseam, and a darted waistband — so whether you dress up the Easy Pant with formal garb or throw them on with a t-shirt for a relaxed look, it’s totally up to you.
