Readers of /r/oldschoolcool will no doubt appreciate Belafonte Ragtime’s rejuvenation of 1930s-era outerwear, especially when it comes to their Denim Sports Jacket. An all cotton 10oz. denim is used for ease of wear—particularly helpful for this time of the year—and the jacket is cut with a vintage fit that sits a bit higher on the waist (as the inspiration did).

Aside from fit and fabric, this one has a belted back with pleats and waist adjusters at each side to help keep things trim as you engage in your sport of choice. Bocce ball, anyone? Rounding things out are slant front pockets, Talon brand zippers and a zippered front chest pocket, which is, as one might guess, reminiscent of the classic dock-worker jackets of the day.
