We can always count on Naked & Famous to bring us weird and wonderful fades, and their Elephant denim series rarely fails to impress. And for this edition of Fade of the Day, we’re shining the spotlight on this pair of Naked & Famous Elephant 5, submitted to us by James from Springfield, Missouri.
James has worn these mammoths daily over the past 16 months, hanging them up only in the summer months. In that time, they’ve seen wear in the Rocky Mountains, multiple concerts, and the rickhouses of the Kentucky bourbon trail. These adventures have really brought out the potential of the Elephant 5 denim, bringing out the crosshatch fades and rough, slubby textures. Naturally, James has also earned some solid creasing along the way, in the form of stark whiskers and carved-in honeycombs that wrap right around the knees.
These are likely just a matter of months and some washes away from being a serious Fade Friday contender!
