Naked & Famous Tie Dye Rain Weave Wide Pants and Boxy Top

Perhaps Naked & Famous’ goal was to create a more economical riff to their special-yet-expensive $800+ Hank Dyed (by hand no less) Tokushima Weird Guy jean, or maybe it was simply a coincidence, but either way you shake it, their Tie Dye Rain Weave Wide Pants and Boxy Top for women employ an immensely covetable textile.

The yarns of the 100% Japanese cotton fabric are tied-dyed various shades of indigo, giving the cloth a multi-colored vertical texture and the appearance of rain fall. (I’m very intrigued at what sort of fades these pieces will yield.)

Both are made in Canada and are cut boxy for a flowy fit. The sleeves are left off the shirt for improved range of motion. In regards to the bottoms, the wide leg pants are cropped to provide a bit a flare, and they also have deep side seam pockets, a wide belt at the front and elastic at the back for comfort.

The Wide Pants are $138 and the Boxy Top is $98, both available at Tate + Yoko.
