Companion’s Type III Jacket Uses Up Some of the Last Cone Mills White Oak Yardage

Before I tell you about the beautiful new Cone Mills White Oak 14.75oz. selvedge denim Type III jacket from Companion Denim, I’ve got to get two things off my chest. First, it’s more like a Type 2.5 with the mixture of Type II-style pleats, and Type III-style pockets and waist adjusters. Second, how much more Cone Mills denim can there possibly be? Every brand seems to be using the final yards from the legendary American denim mill, but… that adds up to a whole lot of yardage.

But if you’re going to support any brand that’s doing the whole “Last bit of Cone Mills” song and dance, Companion is certainly worth the support. The Spanish brand takes a legendarily meticulous approach to their garments, making sure every seam is covered and bound. And this jacket features that same attention to detail, along with selvedge cuffs, a hidden selvedge pocket, branded hardware, and a cognac leather patch.

The denim speaks for itself and the garment is perfectly tailored and sewn. What have you got to lose?

Available from Companion Denim for 243,80€ (~$290USD).
