Fade of the Day – Clarks Originals Desert Boot (7 Years)

It can be argued that you’ll struggle to find a better boot at the price point of the legendary Clarks Desert Boot. They’re affordable, reliable, and pretty darn tough. This particular pair have certainly seen some mileage, but unlike most, their proud owner, Kostia Malkov, extended his chukkas’ life with a resole.

Kostia tells us these boots have seen a whopping seven years of wear, which explains the rich, oily patina that covers the leather uppers. Deep creases have formed across the toe and vamp, adding to the rugged aesthetic of the aged leather. Add a Vibram Morflex sole to the equation and you have a beautiful boot that’s even more durable than it was out-of-the-box.
