Raw denim is for living in, and that’s exactly what Lars Esmarch has done with his pair of Japan Blue JB0401 jeans. Lars has worn these jeans every single day over the past eight months, resulting in some quick-time fades that are perfect for this edition of Fade of the Day.

Straight outta Denmark, Lars tells us these jeans are on his legs all day, every day. A daily commute four miles uphill on his bicycle has definitely taken its toll on the Japanese denim, fading the seat nicely and carving in some super-defined whiskers and honeycombs. The leather patch has softened up nicely, too, and with no repairs needed so far, these Japan Blues can only get better and better.
