The Flat Head has a legendary reputation in the denim world, and with fades like those of today’s Fade of the Day, it’s clear why. Giffary Argyarama of Indonesia sent in his pair of The Flat Head F380s that have been worn for only eleven months, but have fades that most of us would need years to achieve. All this without a single machine wash, too!

It’s no wonder the fades are so prominent; Giffary wears them every day commuting to and from his college on a motorcycle. The fading in the knees, tight whiskering in the lap, and stacked honeycombs  make sense considering that kind of strenuous outdoor wear. As with all of Flat Head’s fast-fading denim, the original dark blue clings to areas of low stress, while other parts of the jean are showing the white core of the thread. Now we can’t wait to see these after a wash!
