Madras Plaid and Silk Blend Together for a Summery Version of Epaulet’s Doyle Jacket

Standing as one of Epaulet‘s calling cards, the Doyle Jacket is a highly versatile, well-tailored chore jacket that defines the brand’s aesthetic—trim, clean, and classic. Shaking things up this summer, the LA-based label has sourced a luxury Italian madras-style fabric to create a truly standout sportcoat.

Woven from 90% cotton and 10% silk, this lightweight fabric weighs in at just 80z. per square yard, allowing it to drape handsomely. And as far as madras plaids go, this one is a more laid-back affair, making this rendition of the Doyle Jacket an easy throw-on for those cool summer evenings.

Staying true to the Doyle blueprint, this iteration comes in a slim cut with two roomy patch pockets at the hips, singular chest and internal pockets, and an open collar. Each piece buttons up with natural corozo nut buttons and comes from the same Los Angeles production line as all of Epaulets garments.

The fabric was so limited, however, production has been limited to just fifteen units. Available for $225 at Epaulet.
