Mister Freedom Preps Up Some Indigo Madras for Their Berkeley Shirt

Mister Freedom is back with a heavy hittin’ Ivy League-style piece to bolster your summer shirting options. Made in cahoots with Sugar Cane, the Indigo Madras Berkeley Shirt is a unique popover that draws inspiration from the Indian heritage of Madras plaid and antique Japanese textiles.

This shirt is made from an exclusive an 100% raw cotton selvedge Madras fabric, milled on shuttle powerlooms in India. With Madras and Japanese fabrics as inspiration, Mister Freedom opted for an indigo-based madras plaid that’s offset by charming reds, a fabric made with the discerning eyes at Toyo Enterprises. Built with popover construction, the Madras Berkeley Shirt comes with dual inverted-pleat chest pockets and features Corrozo wood Catseye buttons at the collar and placket.

Each shirt is finished with chainstitched side-gussets and a branded rayon neck label.

Available at Self Edge for $250.
