Momotaro’s 0405-B Jeans Sees Their Original 15.7oz. Selvedge Denim Get an All-Black Iteration

As things heat up outside, I for one, let out a resounding Will Smith ‘woo!’ as I draw the curtains and reach for the nearest pair of shorts. But for those of you who take a little longer to adjust your daily getup to the warmer months, Momotaro has got you covered with the 0405-B Double Black Jean.

Cut in Momotaro’s new fit, dubbed ‘high tapered’, the 0405-B features a medium rise, roomier thighs, and an aggressive taper down to the narrow hem opening. They’re constructed from a 15.7oz., 100% Zimbabwean cotton raw selvedge denim, a sanforized fabric that’s made up of sulphur-dyed warp and weft threads to achieve a near pitch black tone. And a branded natural cowhide waist patch and copper rivets are paired with Momotaro’s iconic ‘peach’ pink inseam thread and selvedge I.D. to deliver a healthy shot of vibrant contrast to the black denim. Each pair is made in Japan and finished with a tonal button fly, hidden copper rivets on the rear pockets, and chainstitched hems.

Available at Blue In Green for $295.
