This pair of Lee 101 Rider jeans come from a familiar name: Sweden’s Johan Igelström. He previously graced this feature with his pair of Edwins, and another pair of 13 oz. black Lees, and now he’s back for the third time. This pair weighs in at a hefty 19 oz., so it has a heavyweight feel but the softness of left-hand twill fades.
Before Johan’s son was born, he and his wife were scrambling to buy all the essentials for the baby’s arrival, like a new wardrobe and such. Between frantic baby-preparation and regular bike riding, he’s managed to pull together an excellent collection of fades!
