Fade of the Day – Uniqlo Stretch Selvedge (22 Months, 2 Washes, 11 Soaks)

If you’ve been hating on stretch denim, take a look at this pair of Uniqlo Stretch Selvedge jeans that come to us courtesy of Restu, from Indonesia. After almost two years of continuous wear, these jeans are looking just as shredded as any heavily-worn traditional denim, and they’re perfect for this edition of Fade of the Day.

Restu tells us he’s worn these jeans non-stop over the past twenty-two months, even sleeping in them from time to time. He also opted for a regular washing regime which has included numerous ocean washes and hot soaks.  The result? Thrashed denim that’s covered in epic dye loss and creasing. The thighs are completely faded with stark creases stacking down the inner thighs, and both the inseam and outseam have developed distinctive fades from top to bottom. Oh, and did we mention those honeycombs?

You can catch up with Restu over on Instagram.
