With 2018 well and truly underway, it’s safe to say the fade game is still going strong, and we’re keeping the ball rolling with this week’s edition of Fade Friday. Nicholas Vallen, a denimhead from Indonesia, has sent over some killer shots of his pair of Hanzo Stealth Cut Indigo x Indigo which he has managed to carve up in just nine months.
Nicholas tells us he’s worn these Hanzos day in, day out, whilst attending art & design college – but these aren’t your average desk fades. The once-deep indigo denim is now replete with stark, striking fades which cover the whole jean. Crispy whiskers claw down the inner thighs, where they meet with the front side of the epic, 360-degree honeycombs that wrap around from behind the knees.
With just one soak in their young life, there is still much indigo clinging to the threads of these Hanzos – and with many hot, humid Indonesian months ahead – we may need an update in the future to see just how much more Nicholas can shred these jeans.
