The Flat Head Reveals its True Colors with Their Tea Core Horsebutt Oxford Shoes

Guess what? If you answered chicken butt, you’re not far off. The Flat Head’s new Tea-cored Oxford Shoes are made from high-density horse butt.

For this limited special edition release, The Flat Head used premium 1.3mm heavy Tea Core horsebutt that will show off its underlying brown tones with wear, resulting in a vintage-looking appearance usually seen on decent leather jackets and engineer boots. Other details include stitchdown construction, triple needle stitching, a leather midsole, calfskin lining and insole, and a Vibram 700 sole, all amounting to a sturdy setup ready for a beating and plenty of patina.

Available at Corlection in Black or Brown for $1,298AUD (~$960USD).
