Mister Freedom’s Californian Lot 64 Jeans, Now in NOS Cone Mills Organic Cotton Denim

Before the closure of Cone Denim’s White Oak plant, Mister Freedom bought a haul of New Old Stock Cone 15.5oz. organic denim dyed with a unique indigo. How unique? Not only does this indigo come from American-grown indigo plants, the particular indigo plants in question were grown on tobacco farms. The result is a vibrant indigo hue that is reminiscent of denim from the 1970s/1980s.

Made in the USA and inspired by traditional 1950′s-1960’s era blue jeans, they mixed a bunch of things up for the Lot 64. The aforementioned indigo twill denim has a solid white selvedge ID, which is normal, but they were sewn together with 12 types of cotton threads, which isn’t normal. Keeping in line with the N.O.S. theme, these jeans also use N.O.S plaid fabric for the pockets. Finished off with silver ‘oxidized’ metal buttons, and hidden, unmarked copper rivets, this sturdy and eco-friendly pair of denim is perfect for the offbeat denim connoisseur.

Available at Mister Freedom for $329.95.
