The pant market may not be the most innovative space, especially when it comes to army reproductions, but Niche, in the spirit of their name, offers a playful take on vintage fatigue pants with their Twisted Fatigue Pants. And on these, the twist is both literal and lateral.

While classic army fatigues have patch pockets at the front and flap pockets at the rear, Niche’s version has the pockets play musical chairs by rotating their placement to have one flap pocket and one patch pocket mirrored at the front and back. Despite the dizzying pocket rearrangement, Niche keeps the twist convenient with additional on-seam front pockets and a drawstring waist. And these new wave fatigues don’t stray too far from the originals. They’re still made with an olive drab all-cotton sateen, finished with flat felled seams and Hollywood waistband, and come in a relaxed silhouette.
