Wesco Celebrates 100 Years of Boots with a Standard & Strange Collaboration

To help celebrate Wesco’s milestone 100th anniversary, Standard & Strange teamed up with the American shoemakers to produce a pair of limited edition boots that embody Wesco’s century-long heritage. Based on Wesco’s Hendrik silhouette, the Standard & Strange x Wesco Axe Breaker Boot is constructed from a black tea-core Horween chromexcel horsehide that is begging to be broken in.

These classy stompers certainly live up to this momentous occasion, featuring a delicately brogued toe cap and rugged leather laces that thread through a combination of contrasting brass eyelets and speed hooks. Sat upon a Vibram #269 sole and heel, the luxurious horsehide upper is sewn up nicely with four-row stitching on the quarter, and an overlayed, double-stitched heel counter.

Each pair is fully re-craftable and comes finished with an embossed 1920s-era Wesco stamp on the ankle.

Available at Standard & Strange while stock lasts for $775.
