Sound the sirens, we’ve got another veg-tan boot on our hands. Or should I say “on our feet”?
What we have here is the Janesville Natural Nantucket boot, a collaboration between Wisconsin-based bootmaker, Thorogood. This hardy iteration comes from their 1892 collection takes an immediately noticeable turn with a natural veg-tanned leather chassis, a hand-rubbed chromexcel leather sourced from Horween.
The Union Made boot is produced in Marshfield, WI and is manufactured with Goodyear welted construction for years of easy resoling, a Vibram wedge outsole for comfort, and, thanks to that veg tanned leather, will develop a deeper tone with wear.
