Fade of the Day – Warpweft Co. Superior Zero Nine (19 Months, 2 Washes, 2 Soaks)

We know the best part of your day is when you read the Heddels Fade of the Day, and today’s pick is a pair of jeans certain to warm your indigo-loving’ heart. This pair of Warpweft Co. jeans from Nicholas Antonio in Jakarta, Indonesia, were worn for a year and a half and washed twice, more than enough time to get impressive contrast and deep fades.

Nicholas wore these jeans daily, whether in class, on his motorbike, or on the town. The honeycombs and whiskering are indicative of a good deal of movement and the wear in the seat looks like classic college fades to us.

Several repairs have been needed, particularly in the crotch, but freshly repaired and with plenty of indigo, there’s a much fading left to come.
