Kiriko’s Monpes are Some Kinda Zubaz Pant

Denim and canvas are great, but sometimes you just want to just let it all spread out. And there doesn’t need to be a trade off between textile appreciation and comfort any longer, now that Kiriko’s Monpe Pants are on the scene. This pair of casual pants, made with Kasuri-Oro fabric and an elastic waistband, would make even the Fresh Prince jealous. But the best part? You don’t need to live in Bel-Air to afford them, because they’re only $68.

Crafted in Kyushu, Japan with an indigo-dyed, uniquely patterned 100% cotton with multi-colored shima and two pockets, Kiriko is changing the easy pant game. These vintage-looking patterns are well worth the extra few bucks you’d be spending over a branded pair of sweatpants, and are geared to be more comfortable anyway.

You don’t need to leave your house in these, but if you do, the two pockets can hold all of your amenities, and your stylish, comfortable appearance will be the envy of everyone in heavy denim, all summer long.

Available at Kiriko in Black or Grey for $68.
