Lone Flag and Palm High Take Shelter to Make a Cap Collection

We’ve all seen our fair share of military reproduction pieces, but how often do you come across clothing made from literal historical pieces? Lone Flag and Palm High’s new Shelter Half Caps are unstructured 6-panel caps made with fabric sourced from vintage army tents from the Korean War, meaning the same shelters that once gave a reprieve to our troops can now give your head a reprieve from the sun.

Each tent that these caps came from is war-weathered, giving each hat its own unique patina before you wear it and add your own.  The meticulous process of sourcing the tent material from vintage collectors in Los Angeles, cutting those pieces by hand, and hand sewing them assures not only that you can wear a piece of history, but that each piece is one of a kind.

The collection is available from Lone Flag for $58.
