Red Wing Heritage’s Latest Moc Toe Mixes and Matches Leathers

Red Wing Heritage boasts a roster of timeless boots but their calling card is, and always will be, the Moc-Toe. The brand’s history is anchored so firmly around this classic work boot that it rarely receives any updates. With the help of their in-house tannery, however, Red Wing cooked up a subtle variation of their esteemed calling card.

This rendition of the 6″ Moc Toe Boot is made up of contrasting leathers from Red Wing’s own S.B. Foot Tanning Company. Half of the boot is constructed from the Oro Russet Portage leather—seen on the lower vamp, moc-toe, and heel counter—and the other half is built from contrasting full-grain Abilene rough out leather, which covers the upper vamp and shaft.

This fresh upper is built on a classic polyurethane outsole using Goodyear welt construction, allowing for easy re-soling when the time comes. And each pair comes threaded with full grain leather laces to complete the leather medley.

Available on 07/19/2018 from Son of a Stag for $370.
