Fade of the Day – Momotaro 0306-V (1.5 Years, 1 Wash)

It’s time for Fade of the Day and for this edition we have a pair of Momotaro 0306-V that come to us by way of Yair Elbaz over in Israel. Yair works as a bartender, so while people build up tabs at the bar, he’s busy breaking down the indigo dye in these Momos.

Yair has been wearing these jeans for eighteen months, traveling to Switzerland, Amsterdam, and other spots in Europe during that time. The result? A solid wear pattern with some strong fades steadily coming through. As well as some honeycombs behind the knees and some heavy whiskering in the lap, Yair’s Momotaros have developed some rippling stack fades towards the hems that will undoubtedly start to shred as time goes on.

With just one wash during their tenure, these Momos have a lot of indigo left to lose. That said, Yair has put in some solid work so far and the close-up images show just how much potential his jeans have.
