Shouts out to all the ladies out there rocking raw denim just as hard as the dudes! Today’s Fade of the Day features two pairs of Levi’s 535 Leggings in Black Overdye worn diligently but not gently by Heddels reader Sabrina Baires of Maryland, USA.

Purchased way back during the Black Friday sales of 2010, Sabrina tells us that these two pairs of leggings have served as a sort of fade experiment for her in the last couple years. The left pair were worn only six times and washed once, while the pair on the right were the true workhorses, seeing wear five days a week for the last two years until the crotch damage was too damaged to repair.

Overdyed jeans are certainly harder to fade than your normal everyday denim. Sabrina must have been working pretty hard for those two years, because the pair on the right is showing some nice wear marks in the front waist, around the ankles in the form of stacking, and in the back pockets. At least when the first pair get retired, she’s got back ups!
