Now, here’s a classy looking pocket tee for the indigo and denim lover out there. The standout feature on Pure Blue Japan’s Supima Cotton Indigo-Dyed Pocket Tee—besides it’s wonderfully textured and deep indigo colorway—is its chest pocket.
You could put a lot in there, but be mindful of the proportions of what you’re throwing in a chest pocket on a t-shirt. It’s best to keep the contents flat as possible.
And while yarn-dyed indigo means lots of variation and depth in color right out of the vat, other nice details in this shirt include the 100% Supima Long Staple Cotton, an anchor button closure on handsome gusseted flap pocket, and a triple-needle stitched collar. The shirt is nice and unique without being gaudy or too extreme for your average hipster or your modern-day pirate. A chest pocket on a tee (especially one with a flap), is a nice understated feature, one that doesn’t often get produced with quality such as this. Pure Blue living up to their name.
