Railcar’s Doing Made-to-Order Jeans with 23oz. Japanese Selvedge Denim

It’s clearly too warm for heavyweight denim right now. But in a few measly months, you’ll be wishing you’d thought ahead and ordered a new pair of Railcar 23oz. Extra Heavy Jeans.

The dedicated craftspeople over at Railcar just received new machines that allow them to whip up heavyweight jeans for less money, but it’s up to you to do the rest. These jeans are made-to-order (MTO) and come in three of Railcar’s men’s cuts. But, if you’re into their Vixen cut, you can get a pair made in that silhouette, too. The Japanese selvedge denim weighs in at an intimidating 23oz. and is complemented by heavy-duty pocket bags, triple stitching, and flat-felled inseams. All you have to do is choose your size and cut.

There’s no estimate on the turnaround for these made-in-USA beauties, but I imagine that if you order now, they ought to be ready by the time things cool off.

Available for $320 at Railcar Fine Goods.
