TCB’s Buckaroo Jacket Mixes Sawtooth Shirting with Jacket Details

TCB, which stands for “Two Cat Brand”, has mastered the art of the historical reproduction and if you’re looking for something with serious vintage cred, look no further. Though they’ve been difficult to find outside of Japan, Standard & Strange has made it easier, and you’ll want to check out their Buckaroo Jacket.

It’s a repro of an unconventional 50s piece that mixes the details of a sawtooth western shirt and a classic denim jacket. Made from mid-weight black/black denim on period-accurate machines; the jacket features mother of pearl snaps, waist adjuster tabs, and a chain-stitched waistband. Rinsed and ready for wear, this waist-length sulfur-dyed jacket is a perfect complement to a pair of TCB’s classic, high-waisted jeans.

Available for $185 from Standard & Strange.
