Viberg Uses Custom Horween Crust Horsehide for This Limited Collab with Division Road

A special collaboration between Horween, Viberg & Division Road, this menswear-a-troís brings forth two pairs of fairly simple boots, the Engineer Boot and a Service Boot, and severely spruces them both up by making them from whole-hide horse in its natural crust state.

Crust state leather is heavily tanned yet un-finished and un-dyed. After going through a Chromexcel tanning process it is placed in Cordovan pits for extreme strengthening by specialty bark blends. Next, the hides are hot-stuffed with Horween’s custom blend of greases, waxes, and oils. While other leathers will next undergo dyeing and additional processes this hide is set to the side in its raw crust state to be used as is. Both pairs are natural and tonal, with brass hardware accents, and immediately stand out as being something special, but clearly, the special part is what’s yet to come as these shoes evolve in appearance over time.

Available starting August 3 10AM PST exclusively at Division Road Inc.
