Fall collections are dropping left and right and San Francisco’s Evan Kinori just released his carefully constructed FW18 line. The collection features plush fabrics like heavy corduroy and Casentino wool mingling with silhouettes like pullover anoraks, work shirts, and elastic waist pants. Core styles make their way back in interesting blends of cotton, hemp, linen, cashmere, and wool, and it’s all made in California with immaculate construction like French seams, leather-backed hardware, concealed plackets, and corozo buttons.
Standing out amongst the line, and newly added to the collection, is the Zip Jacket. Constructed with German-woven organic cotton heavyweight corduroy, the piece calls back to vintage work jackets with two large flap pockets backed by hidden handwarmer pockets, two-way RiRi zippers, and French seams.
