Very few leathers in the world can patina as well as natural, veg-tanned leather, and today’s Fade of the Day is all the proof you need! Today we’re highlighting a Brettl’s Originals leather belt and its beautiful evolution as it nears the 2-year mark.

This belt, as is the custom with natural veg tan, started off a pale, skin-like color before turning into a deep orange. Flip the belt over and dig all that indigo staining on the flesh side! No doubt this belt has been worn on some inky, raw denim jeans.

The stitching looks solid despite all the wear, and this is also a straightforward, simple belt. With leather this nice, perhaps that’s all one needs.
