Yes, Evisu is still loved! Today’s Fade of the Day shows why, with this pair of Evisu Lot 2000 No. 2 denim jeans. This pair was sent it by William of Norway who bought them at Evisu’s flagship Osaka store in 2009.
William washed this pair countless times, he says, which has resulted in the back pocket painted ‘gull’ arcuates nearly disappearing. Still, look closely and you can see the ‘Osaka Purple’ gulls, hand-painted in-store in an Osaka-exclusive color.
Arcs aside, this pair displays why Evisu’s flagship jeans were so popular, thanks to their vintage fading qualities, especially that roping and marbling. Bonus points for these jeans being worn when William’s wife gave birth to their first child! Hopefully, he washed them again after that.
