With nearly four years of daily use you’d assume any natural veg-tanned leather would darken considerably and Eugene’s Red Hills Long Trucker wallet is no exception. Mainly spurred by the indigo transfer from a couple of pairs of Iron Hearts, as well as a Red Wing leather conditioner, the wallet has taken on a deep, dark brown, so dark it’s nearly black in some stretches.

Turning towards the interior, some hints of the leather’s original state remain, but even that area has darkened up a good amount.
