It’s true, there are many different levels of denim nerds out there in the world today. But only the most dedicated document the progress with marker on the inner pocket bags. One of those people is Heddels reader Dani Wasko of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose pair of Sauce Zhan 314-XX Colorful’s clock in at just five months of wear and its today’s Fade of the Day.
Whether he’s attending shows or playing them with his band, Dani’s jeans see a lot of wear. In just five months, these rainbow-wefted bad boys have traveled with him through two apartment moves, a handful of hikes, and plenty of time trekking around campus. It looks like the whiskers are starting to really set in and pop through in the mix, along with some tight honeycombs, knee fades, and back pocket wallet fades. The unique colors woven into the fabric of these jeans should make for some crazy results once they start to lighten up a bit more in another few months of wear.
