Fade of the Day – TCB Jeans ’50s (6 Months, 15 Washes, Unknown Soaks)

There are only two rules to the raw denim game: wear your jeans, and wash them (oh, and don’t sandpaper your fades). If you do, you’re likely to get the kind of vintage fades you see in today’s Fade of the Day, a perfect pair of TCB Jeans 50s.

This pair comes to us by way of Ryan Adachi or Portland, Oregon, who was worn them for just six months but washed them lots, and it shows. That trademark Zimbabwe cotton is showing beautiful grain and crosshatching, and there’s plenty of seam puckering and TCB’s signature roping. The whiskers are coming along nicely too. We need to see these back here again in six months  or so.
