Our first Fade of the Day from the relatively young denim label, Archipelago de Nimes, comes to us courtesy of Alief Rahadian from Indonesia. Alief has been rocking the Jawara model from the Southeast-Asian brand for seven months now, and they’re coming along nicely on the fade front.

Alief tells us he wears these jeans on a daily basis. Sporting denim of any weight in the tropical climates of Indonesia would be pretty tough, but luckily Alief’s commitment has been rewarded with some solid fades. The denim is still pretty dark after just one wash, but a strong pocket fade and some great whiskering have formed in the lap, while a set of tight-knit honeycombs has emerged behind the knees. The seat has also seen some dye-loss, allowing the rear pocket detailing to shine through.
