It’s always good to see a pair of Big John jeans in the wild and even better when sent in by our readers. Brandon in Pennsylvania did just that and we thought his fades were special enough to make this pair our Fade Of The Day.
Brandon accompanied the images you see here of his pair of R009 jeans with a note: “I figured it goes to show that you can get some quality fades without living in SE Asia. You just need to wear your jeans and be active.” How very true, Brandon.
Brandon’s pair looks at least twice as old as it truly is, and with fades like these, we’re certain he gets plenty of compliments while pounding the pavement on those daily walks. Extra-credit points for the treatment to the crotch to keep a full blow out at bay. He did the initial repair work himself using some leftover silk denim, then sent them off to Railcar Fine Goods for darning.
