Shockoe is in a Loomstate of Mind

The Richmond, Virginia based denim workshop Shockoe Atelier has just put out a real pretty pair of jeans. The Slim Loomstate in One Wash is a fitting jean for the upcoming fall weather in the mid-Atlantic.

Our favorite detail is obviously the 16oz. loomstate selvedge denim, produced at a small mill in Okayama. Ain’t they pretty? The loomstate nature of the denim means they’ve got a bit more character with plenty of hairy texture. And Shockoe has eliminated the shrinkage guesswork with a wash, so you can put away your calculator and rest at ease.

As usual, this jean comes packed with the usual Shockoe details: contrast single-needle stitching, branded black copper rivet reinforcement, stamped veg-tan leather patch, leather washer reinforcement, chainstitched hems, lined back pockets, and tucked belt loops, not to mention Shockoe’s lifetime repairs.

Available for $245 at Shockoe Atelier.
