Arpenteur Boils Wool for Their Cahors Caps

Wanna stay warm and look like a Dickensian street urchin? Well, French workwear expert Arpenteur will definitely have you covered if that’s your fashion niche.

Their Cahors caps are made from boiled wool and come in both Navy and Black and, though they are unlined, they’ll naturally keep out the elements. Made in France in a factory that’s been running since the 1940s, these deceptively simple caps are the product of generations of design and manufacturing knowledge. The trim can be turned down over your ears to keep you extra cozy and if they weren’t so nice, I would say you could turn them upside down to use as a bowl for your daily gruel.

The caps that’ll have you saying, “Please monsieur, can I have some more,” are available for at $185CAD (~$145USD) Lost & Found.
