It’s Friday, so that means it’s time to present to you our Fade Friday! This week’s top dog is China’s Zuo Xu and his The Flat Head 3009’s, a pair of jeans nearly everyone who reads this will seriously covet.
While Zuo didn’t pass along much information about his jeans, we can still deduce some. Strong fading at the front and rear thigh, seat, and calves, suggest frequent activities and fairly consistent wear. It appears as though Zuo bought this pair to have a bit of room as the impressively spread out whiskers and looser honeycombs are indicative of jeans that drape on the body as apposed to hugging. Lastly, we can tell that he achieved these excellent fades in actually less than 2 years time. How? We lurked on his Instagram! He was actually working on three pairs during that 2-year stretch. That’s dedication to denim right there and makes these fades all the more impressive.
