Eastlogue’s Latest Vest is Down with Modularity
Eastlogue, the Korean brand not at all shy to express a bit of their “more is more” philosophy, has a new vest and it’s ready for active duty. This olive vest is made from a poly ripstop and contains vertical channels filled with 90/10 blend of down and feather. To get into the pocket-laden piece (or to air yourself out), Eastlogue conveniently a partial zip below the ‘V’ neckline and velcro adjustment along the left side is there in case you find yourself losing weight and you need to cinch up.
Two permanent chest pockets are paired up with two removable pockets below. Maybe a lot to fuss with, but I do like the concept, and visually speaking, the overall execution is reminiscent of the kind of flashy technical gear of 90’s rap videos by the likes of Zhigge, Da King And I, and Grand Puba. I was incredibly disappointed to not find any of that freshness in my own mall growing up. But, now we have the internet and online shopping, so here you go ‘duke, details below:
Available for $348 at Vestis.
