Eastlogue’s Extra Service Down Sets Provide Modular Warmth

Established in 2011, Eastlogue is a brand that forms part of South Korea’s rising menswear output. Becoming increasingly popular, the brand is re-interpreting classic military and outdoor garments which result in a unique and contemporary aesthetic.

London’s Alpha Shadows is the only retailer to carry their limited edition ‘Extra Service’ line outside of the brand’s native country. Now over here at Heddels, we like a practical garment with military lineage. But we also like 3 jackets for the price of 1. And it doesn’t get much better than this modular system which includes a Fishtail Down Parka and CBA Flak Down Parka.

The 3-layer Fishtail Down Parka is comprised of a heavy nylon twill waist length jacket with a detachable hood that sits on top of a ripstop nylon down coat. With a two way ‘Lampo’ zip front closure, more pockets than Bear Grylls needs and a 80/20 goose down insulation, this modular marvel is suitable for anything that winter can throw at it.

The CBA Flak Down Parka features a nylon twill cropped length jacket with down insulated sleeves and a detachable nylon down vest. With a drawcord adjustable hood, ribbed wool cuffs and 3M insulation, the Flak Down parka is just as capable of handling a harsh Wisconsin breeze as it is keeping you warm on military exercise in an arctic tundra.

Available for £975 (~$1,250 ) and £950 (~$1,220) from Alpha Shadows.
