Montreal denim mecca Tate + Yoko is offering the latest creation from fellow Canadians Naked & Famous in the shape of this reactive dyed ‘no fade’ denim. No fade I hear you cry? Yep, that’s right.
The 12.5oz. indigo rope dyed Japanese selvedge are made with ‘permanent dyed’ yarns that minimize color loss to ensure the jeans stay dark for as long as possible. They feature a brown leather back patch, red line selvedge ID on the outer seams and exposed selvedge on the coin pocket. Made in Canada, they’re available in three of the brand’s iconic fits; Easy Guy, Super Guy and Weird Guy.
We know that sometimes you need a crisp pair of denim slacks to pair with a button-down Oxford for those dress-up occasions, but we’re curious as to whether the ‘No Fade’ name will live up to their moniker when really put to the test.
