With some jeans, the indigo falls off of them the minute you slide them on (looking at you, 21 oz. Unbrandeds). Others require a little more patience before the white cores work through their indigo prison. Today’s Fade of the Day is about one such pair.

Thamrongwit Mix of Thailand hated his pair of Burgus Plus 850 jeans the first six months he wore them, because he saw little to no progress. He was about to give up on them, but then that’s when their true beauty started to show through.

Sometimes a little bit of delayed gratification pays off! The result is that Thamrongwit has now got some beautiful, clearly defined whiskers and honeycombs and a pair that’s shaping up to be a classic.
