Fade of the Day – Denime 66 (4 Years, Unknown Washes)

It’s not often we’re graced by a jean from Denime, one of the original Osaka 5 brands that more or less started the Japanese raw denim revival. Denime is known for their rigid attention to detail when making rigid western pants, and this pair is no exception.

The Type 66 model takes its inspiration from the jeans of the mid 1960s, and Siripong Anuphanweraphong has worn his pair for four long years.

Most of the indigo has disappeared, leaving a light-cast vintage fade that looks like it would have fit in with jeans made over 50 years ago–just look at that tasty roping and seam puckering, for example!
