What’s this? An Iron Heart piece that’s not made of gnarly denim or heavy-weight flannel? What timeline are we in?
On second look, the overnight bag we have here is incredibly on-brand. Made in the USA from a Cordura ballistic nylon developed for the US military, and specifically to Haraki-san’s specifications, this is one overnight bag that will endure all the wear-and-tear your night could possibly bring.
The exterior offers two pockets—one zipped, one velcro-fastened—while the inside, done in orange, offers two internal compartments with two sleeves in one, including a padded laptop sleeve, and one zipped mesh sleeve in the other. The bag has integrated handle straps and a detachable shoulder strap if that’s more your speed, and YKK zippers throughout. Like most, if not all, of Iron Heart’s items, the piece stands out more for its construction and quality of materials, and less so for flashy design choices. A well-made bag that blends in unassumingly and does its job.
