John Gluckow’s Netmaker’s Have Zero Outseams and Single-Needle Construction

For those that feel an exact re-creation of a pair of jeans from the 1930s or ’40s isn’t quite vintage enough, John Gluckow is right in your wheelhouse.

Crafted off a pattern from the 1800s,  their Netmaker’s Trouser, quirky by today’s standards, certainly looks the part with a heavyweight cotton chambray employed in place of denim, and uneven contrast single-needle stitching drawing the eye to unusual front utility pocket placement, side hand-pocket construction, and button-fly construction. The cut keeps the super-old-school vibes going with a high-rise top block with a straight, wide leg fit throughout the leg. Most notable of all, this trouser features a super clean one-piece leg with no outside seam.
