Left Field Goes Gold Standard Commando with Vanson leathers

You want a dope leather jacket? This is that. It’s also $1,600, which we should probably get out of the way early. Anyways. If you’re still here, know that the 20th Anniversary Horween Commando Leather Jacket from Left Field and Vanson Leathers is basically the final boss in Jackets: The Video Game—after you get one, you’ve officially won the not real game.

Getting serious (and this an incredibly serious piece), this is about as close to an unimpeachable article of clothing one could stumble across. For starters, it was crafted entirely in the USA—Fall River, MA for fans of The Fighter—from a jaw-dropping, Horween-sourced, 3.5oz. Chromexcel horsehide leather and was thoughtfully outfitted with a gold-colored 8oz. cotton-rayon lining.

And because details are very important, this masterpiece features nickel-plated zippers, an interior chest pocket, gusseted cuffs, a hidden stash pocket underneath the lapel and Left Field’s 20th Anniversary leather patch at the interior, among other things.

Is this jacket for everyone? Absolutely not. But if you’re sitting on close to $2k and need a leather jacket, it’s certainly for you. Act fast, though: this run is limited to just 20 individually numbered pieces.

Available for pre-order at Left Field NYC for $1,600.
